Billing
The six things people ask before they enter card details. Where something is still being finalised, we say so instead of guessing.
A free account is free in the plain sense: you can build a character, talk to her every day and generate a few photos a month without entering payment details. Voice calls, video clips and long-term memory sit on the paid plans, and the table above shows exactly where the line falls. Nothing you make on Free is a throwaway — your character and her memory stay on your account if you upgrade later.
Cancel from your account settings, whenever you like, without emailing anyone or sitting through a retention call. There is no minimum term. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account, your character and her memory are all still there afterwards — the allowances simply go back to the free ones. The billing terms that apply to your subscription live on the terms page, so if anything there is unclear, ask support before you subscribe rather than after.
Her memory is tied to your account rather than to your plan, so downgrading is not designed to wipe it — going back to the free tier reduces how much she carries forward, it does not empty her out. We have not finalised the exact behaviour at the end of a paid period, so we would rather point you at the place that will state it plainly than guess here. Check the terms page, or ask support before you downgrade if it matters to you. You can always clear her memory yourself from her settings, which is the only way to get a genuinely clean slate.
Photos and video clips are counted one at a time, and voice calls are counted in minutes. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance that resets with your billing period, and unused allowance does not carry over into the next month. When you get close to a limit, upgrade for the rest of the month if you want more. The numbers shown on this page are drafts, so treat them as the shape of the plan rather than the last word — the confirmed allowances will be published here before launch.
We are not going to invent a refund policy here, because the final one has not been written yet. What we can tell you today is that there is no minimum term and no lock-in, so you are never trapped in a subscription you have stopped using. Before you subscribe, read the terms page for the rules that will apply — and if you have been charged and think it is wrong, email support@honeygfai.com and a person will look at it with you.
Upgrades can be made at any time from your account settings, and your characters, chats and memory come with you — you are changing what you can do, not starting over. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep what you paid for until it runs out. The exact mechanics of switching mid-cycle will be set out on the terms page, so check there if you are planning to move partway through a billing period.
Before you decide
The free plan is not a demo with the interesting parts removed. You get a character of your own, a conversation that keeps its thread from one message to the next, and enough photos to see what she looks like in your world before you spend a penny.
